I wouldn’t know, this was taken at 9pm yesterday and I wasn’t at the dealer.

Thing is that the Mexico City dealer didn’t have the right spec car for us so we bought it out of state, thus we only have the title and not the plates.

Its also the reason why it needs a smog check; since it was bought out of state the dealer couldn’t plop over to the verification centre (as only states sanctioned by the Megalopolis environmental commission need to pass smog checks) I’ll have to do the so called “voluntary inspection” once it’s plated.

I guess air quality is a big deal there, makes sense given known issues. In my area, which is pretty greenie, emissions tests are by vehicle year, no matter the state of purchase.

Dude, the commission has their own police force called the environmental police, they care a lot about it. They’ve been stopping cars near my house recently and I don’t want to be charged for running without the emissions test sticker.

They suck at their job and they also patrol with v8 chargers which I find odd.
